Metro scanner shows that Windows Store is now hosting more than 125,000 apps.
Windows Store has a lot of apps for Windows 8/8.1 users. These apps play a very important role in Windows RT because the OS does run the desktop apps. 125,000 is not really a bad number of apps to choose from. All the popular apps which run on Android,iOS are in Windows Store too which means that you won't miss any of your apps when you make the move to Windows device.
