Windows 8 has completed one year !

Windows 8 was released on 26 October 2012. It has just completed one full year with us. Windows 8 brought a lot of new features and also it showed that Microsoft believes in mobile future rather than desktops,laptops. So was Windows 8 designed to meet the needs of different people within a single platform. Microsoft partially got it right but they messed up with the desktop lovers who used start menu frequently. Even the start button was removed from the OS but it was restored by Windows 8.1 back to it's own place. 

Windows 8 was loved by the touch users as it provided complete touch support with all touch gestures to navigate through. Windows Store became a reality with Windows 8 and it has a lot of awesome apps and it is getting improved day by day. Windows 8 is a great OS for me while it is not the same for some. That's why Microsoft crafted Windows 8.1 , a free update to all Windows 8 users who loved the desktop as well as wanted to touch the new Windows.

Windows 8.1 is now available via Store for Windows 8 users and it's available for free too.Windows 8 has market share of 8.02% which is expected to grow as Windows 8.1 has hit the market already.
