Preview of Firefox in Windows 8

If you are in Windows 8/8.1 the you know that there is no better alternative browser to replace IE in the modern UI. But today Mozilla announced that the current update to aurora brings the improved modern version of Firefox.

Firefox uses the same gecko engine in the modern version of the browser, "there’s also support for WebGL for compelling 3D graphics and asm.js which supercharges JavaScript in the browser" adds Mozilla in the blog post.

"Hardware accelerated full HTML5 video is also supported, including open video formats like WebM and proprietary formats such as H.264." Mozilla states. The final version of the Modern version of the browser is set to be released on January 2014.
