Microsoft is betting big in their newest tablet, Surface 2. In this video the tech giant compares Surface 2 with iPad air which is one of the most successful product for Apple. Microsoft explains that Surface 2 can do a lot of things better than what iPad air can. In a not so lengthy post, the tech giant explains the benefits of using Surface 2 instead of iPad air.
Surface 2 runs Windows RT 8.1 which does not run any desktop applications. The lack of quality app is a major concern for Surface 2 users as they are restricted to Windows Store to get the apps. There are some quite cool apps like facebook,Google search,twitter and more. But these type of apps are negligible compared to the useless apps available in the Store. Microsoft are trying hard to improve both Surface and Windows Store app.
