Internet explorer 11 is already available in Windows 8.1. IE 11 for Windows 7 was available as a preview version till now. The Stable version of IE 11 brings in a lot bug fixes and performance improvements over the previous preview version.
IE 11 for Windows 7 has all the features of IE 11 in Windows 8.1 desktop. It has got all the underhood improvements like WebGL, updated JavaScript engine and more features. IE 11 is said to be 30% faster than any other browser and it is said to have 9% speed boost from IE 10. So just download the update manually if you are very eager to have the latest version of Microsoft's browser. Or you can wait till the update gets delivered via Windows update. Windows 7 users will feel home with IE 11 but with some drastic speed improvements.
